Re: 63-72 Chevy P/U Rear Shock Mount System

After reading this I believe this is the best route for me. I talked with Rob last weekend but didn't think to ask about the comparison between coils/shocks vs coilovers. Now I have my answer. I'll be looking at Ridetech for shocks.
Thanks Rob

Re: 63-72 Chevy P/U Rear Shock Mount System

What's the 'B' length shock application, for those that want to purchase the mounts separately and choose their own shocks?

OIC now you needed the specific length not just to get w/o the shocks......option B length.

Re: 63-72 Chevy P/U Rear Shock Mount System

Yup, and the application. The 'A' length are 31000 Monroe, easy enough to cross-reference. Just curious on the shorter length for lower trucks.

Mon-59017 is the Monroe part # for the "B" length shock. Hope that helps. This can also be crossed over to other brands by part # or length.

Check whatever application the above part is. Monroe has an online database--cross that to the required Bilstein part #. I'm a big fan of the yellow billies myself

No. the 60-62 chassis are different. The OE mounts are pretty good. I would use them
