I need help.

I made the foolish mistake by not taking a picture of my front dress on my motor (chevy 350). Now I don't remember where the lower mount holes are for the alternator bracket and it is holding me back on getting my truck running and driving again. If anyone has any pictures of their own could you please share? I'm in desperate need to get this bad boy running again and back on the streets terrorizing unsuspecting late model muscle cars.

Re: I need help.

Does your engine have the correct short water pump or the '73+ long water pump?

Re: I need help.

The alternator lower bolt passes thru the bracket that bolts to the water pump bosses, thru the alternator, thru a spacer tube and threads into the upper hole in the end of the head. The top adjustment bracket bolts to a boss on top of the water pump and either to the thermostat housing bolt, or a boss on the intake manifold, depending on which upper bracket you have.
