1972 Dana 60 question

So......A while back I pulled a Dana 60 (rear)off a 72 Longhorn and redid the perches to fit my 72 Shorty 4x4.....okay...it was like 4 years ago.....UNFORTUNATELY...it has sat in the weather for a bit and the hub stubs have....lets say corroded a tad..(BADLY).. Are those stub hubs welded to the axle housing and am I screwed.....or are they pressed in??? Never dealt with them before.....I'd hate to think of that Dana 60 w/ 4.10's being ruined because I'm a dumbass and didnt at least grease coat them.....if ya know...please let me know....sorry if its a basic question.....just dont really know....Pat

Are you talking about the wheel studs? Pics would be nice for clarification.

Re: 1972 Dana 60 question

They are welded to the axle tube, if yours are that bad it might be time to look for another housing.
