What is the best product to use to re seal the drip rail with and it last ?

Seam sealer. Use it on all metal seams on the cab.

I used 3m fast and firm it's kinda thick and not very easy to apply but that's what a body man I know told me to use and it's been on over a year so far so good you can get it at autozone

I use dynatron seam sealer The number is either 500 or 550.

I used an Evercoat product like suggested in this thread. Now that my drip edge is fixed I need to get new weatherstripping on the doors lol.

I'm in need of a sealer as well. I've always thought, there's so many different types of this stuff, and a lot of people have had success but we really don't know the conditions your trucks are subject to. A garaged weekend cruiser will have much less chance of the sealer pulling away as opposed to an Arizona 365 day workhorse. It's great that so many of you are having success but the suggestions could be in vain because of different climates, FWIW.

I used Evercoat and it is holding up really well. I get pretty wild temperature fluctuations here, and it is no garage queen. It's outside all the time and gets driven often

I hear you on that Mister-B. I read your posts in the last sealer thread and it looks great! Glad it's holding up in real word scenarios, definitely inspires confidence in evercoat, and your prep work!

I use the Evercoat Maxim product on the drip rail. I bought it a TCP Global online. It comes with one of those tubes you put on the end that mixes up the seam sealer before it comes out. I would personally waste a little at the beginning. This is because last time it didn't mix itself thoroughly and I had to dig some sealer out that hadn't hardened. Other than that one little issue (which i haven't had since) it works great and is self leveling.

Here you go.....a video with same idea.....but for the Evercoat product you can just use a regular caulk gun to dispense it.

Yeah, and it's a big deal that you don't need a special caulk gun. Not only are they $60-$100, but they're hard to find, and you'll probably never use it again
