Re: 65 bagged farm truck

I have been working hard on some little detail stuff like brake lines, brakes, bearings, ect. A lot of things that I didn't take pictures of. I still have the goal of getting it to the car show at Easter. I am going to have to bust my ass since i have some major projects to finish like the wood in the bead and wiring.

Re: 65 bagged farm truck

I have been very busy over the past month trying to get the truck ready for the car show. Some of the major projects that needed to be done were wiring, milling, staining and installing the oak, windsheild, temp exhaust, bleed brakes, polish and glaze and a few other items. Here are a few picture of the progress.

Re: 65 bagged farm truck

After many hours of work we were able to fire it up and drive it out of the garage and onto the trailer. I still have a quite a bit of work left to do on it before it is road worthy but it was sure nice to drive it in and out of the show.

Looks awesome, nice work in the bed. I am jealous, still haven't gotten time to work on my 64. Hope you get to enjoy driving it this summer.

Re: 65 bagged farm truck

Been awhile since i have posted anything. I have been working on things like bump stops and and finishing up the wiring. Also had to buy a vacuum pump to improve the vacuum for the brake booster due to the size of the cam. Just over the past couple weeks i was able to take it for a drive.
Over the past weekend i was able to take my great grandmother for a ride in her old truck. She is 98 years old. Here are a few pictures from a photo shoot i did from around her home town.

Truck looks amazing! Well done! I think I am going to use one of those pics for my background on my computer.
