How much for rust repair?

Can someone give me a "ballpark" guess on how much it would cost to fix the rust, dents, and dings on my Travelall? I know it depends on the rust, which I really don't have "too" much. And the dents and dings aren't that bad either.
I'm just trying to get a general idea of how much this will set me back.
Thanks for any help,
Joe

Re: How much for rust repair?

Rust repair is very hard to estimate without looking it over personally. That outer panel, that is a whole different story than if the inner panel is also rusted through.

The hard part will be finding any body shop to fix it and it won't be cheap ! Body shops today are just late model panel replacement shops because that's where the money is , newer cars are totaled before serious repairs are done by insurance companies .

Not to mention finding one that employs an old school body man or two that can cut out and weld in body panels.

Re: How much for rust repair?

Does anyone make patch panels?

Otherwise you need a good metal shaper to make that replacement quarter lip

Re: How much for rust repair?

I've been fortunate. I found 2 body shops without 20 minutes of my house that will do it.
