66 k10 Long bed to short bed on a 70s frame price
Found a 66 k10 long box converted to short on a 70s frame. Decent body not much rust but had patch panels put on in some places has a 350 runs drives. What would you guys pay?

There’s some pictures I hope they work. The guy said it has an oak bed that is in good shape. And the guy he bought it from did all the body work and did a good job.

That’s what I was leaning towards. I’m just having a hard time finding a short bed k10 60-66. In close to original form as possible right now.

Be patient. This isn't the one. One will come up when you least expect it. Something in how you explained it and the owner does not sit well with me and I don't trust any seller at all. They're trying to get crazy money for an ok truck. Pass and keep up the motivation. We're all looking forward to your pics on the build when it's time. For now, IMHO, pass and refer him to Barret Jackson.

yeah id pass as well....it might be 5500 if it had a decent paint job...but I agree with above...3500 or so would be it...and since you havnt seen it in person who knows what it looks like up close.....
short bed 66 k10s will be hard to find though......so just how bad do you want one is what you have to ask yourself.....

Before you buy something like that, you might want to check with your local DMV regarding any possible legal issues with the cab and frame having different VIN's. Here in Idaho you are subject to having your vehicle confiscated if you did not follow the proper requirements.
