Blazer Door Measurement Help

Hey Guys,
Looking to get a measurement for the front door pillar. The truck was completely wasted and was cut apart with a carb saw. My concern is there won't be room for the rockers. Can someone let me know either one of these dimensions? The lower hinge point in relation to the windshield or the upper hinge to the bottom of the door or rocker is question and either dimension in the photo would be most helpful. Please let me know where you are measuring from.
Thank you,
Bill

Re: Blazer Door Measurement Help

How about lining the door up with the lower body line to match the bedside. That will pretty much set everything up. You can slip the rocker on then to see if it will fit. You may end up having to split the rocker in half to either add material or take it away to get the bottom gap correct but in the end matching the body line is what needs to happen first imo. From what I can see, the relation of the top of the door to the windshield frame in the corner it looks pretty close to where it should be.

GMCPaul is out of the bedsides for a while so that is out. I wanted to get the other door mounted but wanted to get close on the measurement.

Re: Blazer Door Measurement Help

If I am understanding your directions correctly I get 23-3/4" for the left dimension and 23-1/2" for the right dimension.

Thank you, Looks like I got something to weld this weekend. Just to clarify, are you measuring to the middle of the bolts on the pictures?
Thanks again

Yes, center to center on the right measurement and top of doorskin at A pillar weld to center on the left one. Pic is where the measurements came from.
