How much has you superlift springs settle????

I just instaled 10'' superlift springs in front with a 4'' sky offroad rear shackle reversal with 5.5'' rear springs in the rear. The truck is a 3/4 1984 chevy long bed. I noticed that the back is 3/4'' higher than the front??? What should i expect for when the back springs settle??? I have put 400 lbs in the back to help settle??? I cant drive the truck yet, because of needing longer drivelines.

Re: How much has you superlift springs settle????

So, I've had the springs in my truck for a couple months now driving close to 2000 miles, and have put 1000lbs of weight in the back to level truck out. I removed the weight and truck is still about 1.50'' higher in the back. My setup is 5.5 rear 56'' springs, 4'' shackle reversal, and 10'' superlit springs. Is this because I have 56'' leafs in back?? Do they give you more lift than 52'' rear springs?? Please chime in??

Re: How much has you superlift springs settle????

i believe that the trucks are suposed to sit higher in the back to compensate for when you put weight in the back, i put truck springs in my blazer and it sits higher in the back, and my buddies truck with the spring/shackle flip lift also sat higher in the back, i wouldnt worry, sounds normal

Re: How much has you superlift springs settle????

My truck with the 4" Rancho lift also rides high in the back, i think because its a truck if ya load it down you want it to ride level so they allways lift the back a little. My truck has front springs and rear blocks so it would have been real easy for Rancho to make and use a 3" block or a higher arched spring in the front but they didn't.

The only other way i think would be to have a spring shop do a custome order.
