Np 205??

Im having trouble getting my NP 205 to shift from neutral to 2 hi. It will shift to 4 lo but its like its still not in 4 wheel drive. Does anyone know what position the two shafts going into the transfer case should be in while its in the different selections? Thanks for any help

Re: Np 205??

All the way out is 4high. All the way in is 4 low. One click forward from high is neutral.

you sure your floorboard isn't hitting the shifter?

Yes its not hitting. I have been building this truck for five years so i didnt know if it just needs some moving of the gears.

Re: Np 205??

No but it helps to rotate the shafts to line up the teeth for engagement
