Im considering buying a 93 Indy Pace Truck from a friend in Tennessee ,anything usual to look for on these trucks ?Im normally on the 67-72 and the square section as those are the trucks I have now .This truck I can get for around $3000 ,new 350 several years ago ,I also know the former owner.

Those pace trucks were cool looking, I've always wanted one. Just look for rust in the normal locations, cab corners, under bed sheet metal, bottoms of doors inside. The new engine, does it still have all the original fuel injection system? How many miles on the truck? The trucks are pretty reliable from my experience, I got my truck from my dad I think around 2006, and he got it back in 92 when it was a year old. The fuel pump has been replaced a few times, otherwise no major maintenance has had to be done. If it's in good condition that's a good price.

I have not seen the truck in a couple of years but the body was in excellent condition then .Some of the stickers are not in great shape and it has some surface rust on top of cab .The engine probably has only around 20,000 miles and all the fuel injection Im assuming is still there.

These are great year trucks. I picked up my 94 from a friend when I let my son use my 02 Silverado. Mine has 260,00 on the clock so far and still keeps on ticking. My total investment is under 3500 since I got it last year. Be interested to see what shape yours is currently in, those Pace trucks were always neat looking to me.

Robbie ,the truck is not yet in my name but it IS MINE .The state of Ga now only gives 7 days from date of purchase to get emissions test and tag and title changed so Im not sure when I will be able to go get it .The current owner is here in Ohio with us at a Chevelle show and we are trying to figure out a time in a few weeks to get it home .Another friend up in Tennessee has a camper top he is going to put on it to get it out of his way .The topper is actually for a long bed so if you know anyone that needs one it will be cheap.

Yeah man, cool truck for sure. Needs some work, but it's still a cool truck. Restore it, then look for the 93 Camaro pace car to match.

Well Indy truck is now in my driveway ,its a great driving truck ,needs a little TLC ,shocks ,wiper blades,stereo system and some paint work on top of cab but the first thing to do is get it through emissions and tagged and titled and then drive it.

Its official ,Indy passed emissions and is now titled and tagged in my name .Now I need to get the A/C working .
