rpo codes for rear end not gear ratio
can someone tell me the rpo codes for the rear ends not the gear ratio I have them already. I am looking for the 12 bolt or 8.75 rear. thanks

There were not RPOs to allow you to choose different axle brands, types or ring gear sizes. Only ratios.
All of the other design considerations were chosen for you. K

ok I have a 12 bolt rear in my truck. what is the ring gear size for this rear. is it a 8.75 in know my gear ratio is 3.73. I need to know because I am planning on replacing the rear diff cover and fluid.

Is this on the 97 K1500?
You don't have a 12 bolt unless someone swapped it in. You most likely have a 10 bolt(8.5/8.625") There is a chance you have a SF 14 bolt(9.5") if you have F44(7200 GVW) |
