Almost made it to 300k
Thanks to the lady who wasn't paying attention and tagged me at 40mph. Maybe it won't get totaled out.

that sucks. they will total it. for how old and millage defently total. unless you fight it and tell them they have to fix it.

The underneath photo does not look too good.....
Having said that, I was an independent insurance adjuster. A few times, a "bent frame" was only a rear axle, out of position.

Yeah I pretty much assume they'll total it. But, I can get a salvage title, straighten it out, weld up some supporting metal, and it will be fine. The bend is behind the axle so the only thing that part of the frame supports is the hitch, which will obviously need to be replaced. in OH I can get a rebuilt salvage title and it will be good as new.

They will total it but with the bed removed that frame is an easy fix. Open channel, a little heat while pulling with a few well placed wacks with a 3 pounder and good as new. The boxed sections in front are the ones tough to get back .

They totaled it but I got a decent amount, so instead sending to the junk yard I sent it to the collision shop. They straightened the frame out for under $600 and now it's back in my driveway. Put a new hitch and bumper on today, and when my buddy comes over tomorrow the bed goes back on, then on the inspection. Can't wait to get it back on the road.
