Options and option codes

I need some help. I'm looking for offical info on options offered by the factory on both Chevy and GMC Suburbans, for the years 1967 - 1972. Does anybody out there have copies of the original ordering info, showing all options each year, with the RPO codes. Very confused on what was and was not truely available on these vehicles. Example: The 1967 GMC Suburban sales brochure indicates buckets were available on GMC's '67 Suburban. The Chevy brochure does not list this option for 1967. Another example: Was front air conditioning available before the dual air units in '69s? And for that matter, did the dual units start in 1969 or '70?

Re: Options and option codes

To the best of my knowledge, subs had the roof mounted air down the center until '72 when they put it back in the dash and offered the optional rear air. Can anyone confirm this?

This is what I believe as well. '72 was the first year for the rear mounted unit as opposed to the center ducting of the previous years.

Confirmed. All but the`72 had the standard heat controls in the dash with no vents.Everything was overhead like a Jet-liner.
