Re: Rough idle

Idle Air Control Valve is probably going bad. Easy fix.

Re: Rough idle

1967 Chevy Pickup. Gen1 350, Edelbrock, 200-R4, Rough Idle problem. My 350 ran great for months. At idle the engine was so smooth that it didn't move at all. I had to make a hard stop almost locking up the brakes. After that it idled so rough that I thought the engine was going to rattle the truck apart. Once I accelerated it went away. I drove about 50 miles and it cleared up some but still not as good as before. Any ideas will be appreciated.

sounds like you knocked some trash into the carb, or if its fi, then the injectors need cleaned. get the carb rebuil, or new injectors and it should clean it up.
