i didnt specify and yes, it appears he is going to do 1/3 of the truck. Painter is a friend. I don't get caught up in paint prison. i do not specify, I drop off and a week or 2 later whatever needed to be done to match the quality of the build is done.

Glad you got it back. Lookin' real good. I'm surprised your body man masked something as easy to remove as the lenses. Not that I'm a body man, but that's what I would do.

So, how do you like driving it compared to before?

That's a VERY good point and I have NOOOO idea why he did that?? The time down, price and personal relationship I have with him negates me questioning him though.

It drives and handles the same as before. We are having a heck of a time getting the brakes where I want them though. Almost every brake componentr is new and they are just not where they should be.

Re: S.E. US..The old 72 Suburban had vanished. Anyone seen her?

Cool story, glad you found it! I am only in my 30's, but my father always talks about the cars he "let go" - I have been fortunate enough to be able to store haulted projects for a later date, and havent had to have any "sold it" regrets yet...

Hey,
What are you running for a fuel tank in the Model A Sedan? I ended up settling on the saddle tanks since I am not going EFI, but always curious what others decide to use...

The saddle tanks are a pain. I've had them and will never do it it again. My Tudor has a 32 style tank and the 5 window has a fuel cell on the trunk.

The suburban round 2 looks awesome! I really like the 2 pics of you and your daughter. My daughter is 6. I'm not ready for her to be the age of your daughter. I really dig your pre war cars. Do you have any threads on here of any of them? Here's my 40 Ford I'm doing a frame off on.

THANK YOU! I bought a truck years ago just for those vintage wheels! Painted the centers and have run them on several vehicles. 15 x 8 I think. 30/9.50 on back and i think 245 up front. The burb is a C2500 with 3/4 ton to 5 lug 2.5 drop spindles and a stock 1/2 ton set of rear springs. I bought 4" drop rear Suburban springs and they dropped it about 8" so we backed up and punted.
