which spark plugs?

this subject has probably been hased over and over, but now I need some advice. This engine had champion 3025 plugs in it and came out looking like this. do you think these plugs are hot enough for this engine?
My friend gave me this truck when he passed away, so I don't alot about the engine yet. He left me with the box of receipts, so I'll have to look at 'em all some day.
Thanks!

Sorry to hear about your friend.

I use NGK spark plugs.

Any idea on the compression?

Re: which spark plugs?

What is the current gap? Thermostat range?

Next time the headers are hot, rub off the gunk!! Some stuff does not stick to ceramic coated headers.
