Re: Chevy Daves 67-72 Junk Yard. OHIO

Guys I never posted in the parts board. I was only sharing some pics I thought were interesting again it's not a business only a friends property. My apologies if I miss represented this listing .
I met this guy at a shop down the road from my house several months ago he had came out the garage when I pulled up in my blazer. We had started talking 67-72 stuff and I was invited over his place for some beers and for him to show me his 72GMC he was working on. I couldn't beleave my eyes when I got there ! It was like finding the end of the rainbow and seeing the treasures in front of me. But to make a story short he's just a hoarder won't come off anything. I can count on one hand just a few things he's sold me that he made sure was for my truck lol. I kind of see where he's coming from with the stories he's told. He feels saddened that he had to part with over 21 of his trucks due to city regulations.
And feels like he don't have much left . To me it's a boat load . I can still see all the empty blank spots where trucks used to sit out back that are long gone. Anyways Chevy Dave just like all of us here that have a love for these trucks. I guess I'm a bit of a horde I have four of these trucks myself.
Anyone remember watching that show car hoarders I don't see it on anymore it must of got canceled.

Bummer.
Can't blame us for asking.
If you're in contact with him and can convince him to sell some stuff to good homes I'm sure we all would promise to take good care of it 😉

Re: Chevy Daves 67-72 Junk Yard. OHIO

With no text we couldn't tell if this was meant for Parts For Sale and put here by mistake, especially since this is the Suburban & Panel forum and there aren't any of those. I was appreciating the pictures as you intended, but had no idea who what where why, so I posted my response. This looks how my place used to before I started selling things. Not only a stash for parts/future projects, I had a variety of 9 running/on the road trucks/K5/Suburbans in my signature when I first joined. It's not hoarding, it's called passion.

Re: Chevy Daves 67-72 Junk Yard. OHIO

Special K,
You're absolutely right I had posted in the wrong section. I had posted all the photos late in the evening and had no chance to type a response to them thought I would just wait till the morning it got to late for me. He definitely has a passion for these trucks.no doubt. When you have 10 and 20 of the same items and you don't want to part with a single one to me that's a hort lol.
I drove clear up to Pontiac Michigan Sunday 4 1/2 hours just to get a few odds and ends from a guy I didn't know and Chevy Dave lives eight minutes around the corner from me and has everything I bought 10 times over LOL
