cherry bombs

Anyone running Cherry bomb mufflers? the small turbo types-- I like the magnaflows and flowmaster but I cant justify the prices. Do the Cherrys sound anything like the others?

Re: cherry bombs

I've got cherry bombs on my 63 with a newer stock 350. I like the sound of them. This is a long video, but if you skip to the last couple seconds, the music stops and you can hear my truck going down the road.

Re: cherry bombs

I have dual 18" cherry bombs on my '71 stock 350 with exhaust pipes exiting out the back and I like the sound.

Re: cherry bombs

I have the shorty turbos on mine and I'm not real satisfied with the sound. I'm going to go to the straight through glass pack for the sound hat I want. Some say it's too loud, but Oh it sounds sooo good.

thanks. One thing about cherry bombs, as with any mufflers, but I think more so with cherry bombs, the bigger the pipe you use, the better the sound.
Years ago I had a 68 Torino with a 302 with 3" exhaust and glass paks. Everyone thought it was a big block because of the sound.
