Went out of his way to go see a 63 I'll be purchasing this week. Looked the truck over sent pictures and spoke to the owner on my behalf. The owner was thinking that I was part of a scam since I'm from Montreal Canada and the truck is in Alberquerque New Mexico.
Called NMDMV and they will issue a transit so I can drive it to Detroit if I wish as long as I have proof of insurance.
Will get the bill of sale notorised at his bank. Suggested by pimpston65. LePimp also offered temporary storage if necessary.
Why all the bother? Truck has the original dealer installed A/C.
When I get it home , I'll strip out the A/C stuff and there's a strong possibility the rest of truck is sold already.
