Dana 60 question

I've looked all over the World Wide Web and cannot find any answers on application of part numbers

Left hand steering knuckle cast number c41896 and c38138 , are these the same ?

Will either fit 1990 gmc v3500 ?

Thanx in advance

Re: Dana 60 question

If it has 6 bolt spindles then yes. Ford used 5. GM and dodge are pretty much the same.

don't forget dodge and gm have different tie rod position and top or bottom mount .

dodge = middle of knuckle for casting ear for tie rod.

gm = lower area of knuckle for casting ear for tie rod.

but yes they can swap otherwise .

this is correct for your v3500
they do appear to be interchangeable.
