Re: Camshaft sensor wire locations

If you don't already know that plug is likely an Aptiv (Delphi) Metripak 150 sensor plug.
Repair pigtails that you can solder and heatshrink in place should be available at NAPA. make sure the pigtail plug is keyed the same as the old one... sensor plugs have all kinds of mating key arrangements to make sure you can't swap them around to the wrong sensor.

Assuming you have a Weatherpak & Metripak 150/280 terminal crimp tool and the terminal extractor you can roll your own solder-in pigtail using the old shell along with some $0.10 terminals and some 16ga SXL wire.

I generally hang onto the old connector shells I remove in a big 2 gallon plastic cannister just in case I need one that gets obsoleted. Usually the metal terminals are available long after the shells are obsolete.

I keep intending to do a tech writeup on how to re-work the Delphi Automotive connectors but I'm procrastinating.
