Re: 68c10/c6

We're going to debut this at SEMA this year I'll post more pics the closer we are to completion I'll just say it's getting all the electronics the Vette had in it! Basically we skinned the Vette and fitted it with a 68 c10 body

Drifters, nice trucks! The C10 Vette is very cool. Are you building a Suburban?

Re: 68c10/c6

I do it's actually on the back burner it's a 52 but I'm doing a 52 p/u first and a 72c50 next it'll be built into a crewcab with duel rears and a 6.6duramax/ Allison! I like seeing people's projects and yours looks like a cool build? I'll be following it.Name: image.jpg

I like the build part! Most of my projects get sold. It helps having employees.

Re: 68c10/c6

I do remember the 32 p/u, but I remember him working on a 33/34 roadster? But it has been 8/10 years since he moved. How's he doing? And what ever happen to the 55/56 he painted red? He told he how he ran a run down the door and just cut it off the bottom edge. How is he doing?

Re: 68c10/c6

I don't yet because I built the chassis around the suspension & drivetrain thus it hasn't been broke down yet I pulled the cab to finish the firewall & trans tunnel so I'll take some more pics! I'm going to post some cab sheet metal pics as well!

Re: 68c10/c6

The firewalls almost done!Except for some holes to fill! I wanted this to look as factory as possible we had to recess the firewall 3.5 inches for the engine to clear and in order to make the Corvette pedals & steering column work we needed to build out the master cyl/ booster area as well as a mounting point for the column boot!Name: image.jpg

I've got the Vette column & pedal assembly mounted now I need to work on making the Vette instrument cluster work with the 68c10 bezel. We'll have one built!
