always something!

I went to start my K20 today to move it into my shop ,it has been sitting in a carport for the last few days since i last started it,I had nothing! no lights, no anything, wouldn't even click the solenoid at the starter, I checked the battery with my voltmeter and had .4 volts....what could have drained the battery sooo low in just a few days? no lights were left on...I am charging the battery right now and not sure where to start looking for a problem.....very frustrating, I just got the lights and everything working good a couple of weeks ago...any place to start?maybe the battery is just old and weak and the cold weather took its toll, it has not froze here though in the past week...
