What fan

I have a 65 c10 with a 327 sbc and an aluminum radiator. I need to purchase a fan for the radiator. Does anyone have any suggestions? The radiator came with the truck so i do not know the manufacture. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: What fan

Do a search on this board for Taurus fan or jeep fan or dorman fan.

There are some good writeups where guys have gone out to the salvage yards, picked up a common fan assembly/harness, modified it appropriately and installed it with success.

You'll find wiring diagrams describingg how to build your own harness with relays and how to wire up your salvage yard fan to make it kick on/off with the temp of your coolant.

Here's a good start:

Re: What fan

Nothing is in it now. The taurus fan sounds like a good idea. Thanks for the link I will start researching this week.

I am using a Taurus fan on high using this switch setup. Works really well. No problems for two+ years...
