Where to find a bedside tool box?

Currently looking at a '72 C20. It has the beside toolbox, but is missing the outside cover. Anyone know where I could potentially pick one up? Nothing seems to come up on any part sites.

Only used ones are out there, unless you happen to find a fiberglass reproduction that Dennis' Pickup Parts produced many years ago. Can't believe the molds were not preserved. Can't believe someone else hasn't done the same in recent years now with all the additional demand for parts on these trucks.

Ya them doors are gems now.I have 2 of them But one is cancered really bad. Most guys bight the bullet and find a bed side with out the tool box.For the time you will spend and the 500.00 to fab one up throw a shop.It is a shame they don't make that door and the clam door for the suburbans

Re: Where to find a bedside tool box?

They are out there rust free but you have too look really hard and be patient. I got a whole tool box bed a couple years ago from colorado springs. Rust free door and good box/hardware. The only rust mine has is below the door in the bedside. Your best bet is from a desert truck.

Re: Where to find a bedside tool box?

They are rusted in every state by now and ones that aren't would be on a truck too nice to part, I guarantee.

Re: Where to find a bedside tool box?

Thank you for the replies and help everyone. However the truck was nothing like advertised when I went to see it myself and decided against buying it.
