1995 z71 a/c leak search
I've recently had my a/c stop working in my truck. I've replaced the low side accumulator switch, accumulator, low & high valve fill ports, most all of the seals. ran leak detector through it and found nothing around the r4 type compressor. will not hold a full vacuum at full pressure for long on the low side gauge on our machine. any ideas of where else could be leaking?

Re: 1995 z71 a/c leak search
I got a cheap UV light on Amazon (about $7) and put the R134a with dye in it in one of my vehicles. Waited a couple of days and found I had a leaky hose.
The UV light makes it easy to find the leak. |

You could look ( or see residue ) on your hands by leaks.... it will look like a dark-ish oil / or seem like coolant on the lower areas?
