Any reason to not use driver side drop?
Researching converting my 65 GMC 1 ton panel to 4wd.
133" wheelbase-I can run a divorced transfer case, correct? Any reason to not gather a driver drop np205 and high pinion Dana 60? I'd be using the truck as a back country camper. Thanks for any help-still trying to wrap my brain around this 4x4 stuff. Posted via Mobile Device

If you can find a 78/79 Ford high pinion 60 in your area go for it. Even out here they are still expensive.

Might be conflicts with clutch and brake stuff if you have that frame mounted? I think the fords used hydralic clutch operation to get the linkage out of the way???
