How on earth do you put 1200 miles on a truck in 30 years. Why buy it in the first place?

Well my brother bought a 77 Trans Am new just for the purpose of storing it, He sold it in 1992 or so with very few miles on it. Can’t remember what he sold it for but it just sat for years. Another guy I know had a 62 T-Bird he did the same thing and sold it in 1985. Hard to believe but some people do this kind of thing! Wish I could have got one of the last years El Camino, the funds just we not there but I remember I wanted to. This was probably the case with this truck it was the last year for that body style and someone wanted to get one just to preserve it.

My Dad has a friend in Salina, KS that has an '83 Hurst/Olds in climate controlled storage with 1300 miles on the odometer.
