My old school 54 project

I bought this truck last year(already chopped), and have been slowly switching it over from a street rod(ish) kind of thing to an old school rod. Notched the frame, moved the leaf spring shackles up into the frame, added an s10 blazer fuel tank...and my favorite so far is the 64 cadillac steering wheel and column I added last week, not finished but functional.

You are just down the road from me. Cool that you got it chopped with glass done, that can be a headache. Love the column too.

Re: My old school 54 project

Thanks, ya the glass is all in and has power windows. I bought it from a relative, who had done all of that.... he tells me the glass was very expensive. It had a 6 gallon boat gas tank in the bed, w/ no gauges and 4.11 gears it must have been at the gas station a lot. I think the gears are 3.36 now, I put the 18 gal tank in, and I'm rebuilding the gauges now. A little here and there... driving it everyday.
