1987 R30 questions

I have a 87 R30 Single wheel truck. 454, T400 , 205 TCase, 373 gears in it. It also has a 4 inch lift, but instead of having a raised steering arm on the Dana 60 front, it has what looks like factory cast iron spacer between the spindle and the steering arm. Also blocks in the rear. Did GM offer a factory lift in these trucks?

Does anyone know if I can get OEM Steel wheels that are 8 to 10 inches wide for this truck? 8 bolt plain steel paint wheels.

They will fit, but the weight of the vehicle will be on the lugs instead of the hub.(Most aftermarket wheels are like that too)

Re: 1987 R30 questions

And the backspace is not going to work well. The aluminum oem dodge wheels hit the tie rod ends on my k30. Steel maybe. But the backspace tucks them way under the truck and it looks dumb.
