Which Air Breather - & - what engine did the dual air breather come from?

While I was going through more of my parts I ran across this dual air breather. I forgot I even had this. But it fits. Soooo...

a) Which breather looks best?

b) What engine did the dual breather come from?

Thanks

Likely came from a Camaro (even into the 80's) or a Corvette.

Both look good to me!!!

To me, the dual one says "more power" and that's what I'd use even if it did not warrant it. I might even put in a bit taller filter to let some of the carb noise out under hard pedal.

Looks like the 1980's Ram Air L69 Z-28 Camaro Air Cleaner although the lid might mean I'm wrong...

I was wrong. looks to be 78 79 80 81 Corvette air cleaner 350 L82 L48 1978 1981 dual snorkel it has that left side snorkel that dips down a bit.

I like the dual snorkels, but that's probably overkill for a stock build. GM put partially open elements on a lot of hot rods, the Corvette and Z-28 Camaros being classic examples. More, cooler air available is always better. Off-brand, but I had an '05 Corolla that I put cold air induction on (took out one of the blanking plates for driving lights, which I had not bought when I got the car). I could pull hills better and gained .4 MPG. Doesn't seem like a lot until you drive a vehicle a 1/4 million miles. Made it out of less than $8 worth of ABS drain pipe pieces. I want to run a cold air induction system on my truck, but that's way down the list of things that life requires me to do.

It is a "78 79 80 81" Corvette air cleaner 350 for the L82 motor.
Earlier versions didn't have the hot air bypass.

I bought mine from Rock Auto and application was for a 1972 Z28 Camaro. Been on for 5 years now with no issues. Even had the provision for that spark arrester thing that goes from the air cleaner to valve cover on passenger side rear. I also like that its smooth and doesn't have the flap doors on the snorkels.

I just made my own by tack welding another snorkel onto mine.
You can see the tack welds on the snorkel on the left.

^ Yup, I did that on my '69 Camaro.
