Name this truck?

I saw this truck as I was leaving Pigeon Forge Sunday but I did not have time to look close and I am not sure what it is. It had a small block in it. I really liked this truck but I have no details on it. It was simple and very clean.

Re: Name this truck?

I think the cab is a 1940 Ford with a different hood and grille. Look at this truck to compare http://www.classictrucks.com/feature.../photo_01.html Look at the ribs along the top of the door just below the window.

I think the one beside it is a 39 or 40 Chevy looking at the cab and hood sides. I would need to see the grille to be sure.

Nope, definitely not. Mine doesn't have that detail below the driver's side window nor the circular detail line that the original hood sides would have hidden on this truck

Re: Name this truck?

40 to 47 all had the same shell. I believe you can only tell the actual year of the cab by things inside the cab. Ford scripts, gas tank placement etc etc.

Re: Name this truck?

i would definately say Ford by looking at the body ridge that goes down the side under the window. The Ford matches original picture while the chevy is just a single rib.

Re: Name this truck?

I'd say 40'sFord as well, especially the cab and hood but i the grill reminds me of a Ford 8N tractor, but that's just me haha.
