sandblasted parts
I just bought some sandblasted fenders that were sprayed with a cheaper 2K primer.
I have always used epoxy primer on the bare metal after blasting. Suggestions? Scott |

My first concern would be if they are warped from the sandblasting.

They appear to be straight. I have not tried to fit them but they look and feel good.
I'm no body guy so I have to follow the directions and the best methods. Anything I ever took to the metal I used an epoxy primer. The are original fenders off a 72 Ambulance. I have to patch a 115 outlet hole on each one but other than that they are in incredible shape. Scott |

I'd test fit them before moving ahead.
If they fit, then I'd take off the urethane primer and start over with epoxy. This way you know they're going to last.
