A Queation About My TH400
I'm really new to getting my hands dirty and such with my truck and I managed to put my transmission (TH400) back in after having it rebuilt and i was wondering... The two prongs sticking out on the left side, one horizontal, one vertical... what're they for? I haven't been able to search up anything on it. Any help is very much appreciated.

The prong that comes out horizontal is for the kickdown solenoid. And as far as I can tell in the books I have, that is the only electrical connection on a TH400. I can't find any prong that comes out vertical.

Some of the detent switches on the 400's have two "prongs", one
for the kickdown the other for ground. Jim |
