Question c10 camper special??

I went to a guys house today for work and he had a yellow 69 camper special 10, 396 th400, original ralleys and hub caps, ps, not sure if pb. I was wondering if they made a 1/2 camper special...it had coils in back with overloaders, 2 extra gas tanks forward of the back wheels with the necks in the wheel well. nad all the trim and woodgrain on the tailgate, the interior was not to bad am radio, had original ac and he said original 90,000 miles, has some surface rust and is fadded but body was in good condition..said he will be putting it up for sale soon for 7500. just wondering if it really is a camper special...might be in the market for a truck soon here in California, dont think I want an 8ft bed and a big block right now. thanks

From what you described $7500 sounds like a lot of money for it.

And yes they did make 1/2 ton CC

I'm questioning 'original rallys'

I don't think any 67-72s came with rallys. I was told they were first utilized in '73.

alta-aj, you are right on that...but I think it was later than 73...more like 78 or so.
