New to the Forum/1970 GMC Step-side

Hey Guys,
I'm New to the forum. Last week I bought a 1970 GMC Short bed Step-side.
She needs a little work, but is in good mechanical working order.
350
5-speed trans (i was told it was out of an S10) it also has a high rise shiftier with a #13 pool ball on it.
New Brakes all the way around.

She runs, she drives, and shes a lot of fun.

Currently i have wire brushed the drip rails, and primed them. Going to put some epoxy paint over the primer and then a bead of sealant on the rails to keep them from leaking.

The inner roof panel skin is in rough shape, but the outer roof skin seems to be solid. I plan on having that replaced, and having the windshield surround checked out. It needs a driver side rocker and cab corner, but that can wait. I just don't want to sit on wet seats at the moment.

Floor pan is in OK shape, and the front right fender is a replacement.

She has a little bit of rust in the forward top corner of the door jams, but overall shes solid. Its defiantly earned its Patina.

Let me know what you think, and some tips on how to go about getting that inner roof skin fixed/ anything else to look out for.

I like the truck, short steps are cool in my book.

Good luck, Rg
