I have been taking K10 out on more trails so figured I would at least build a skid plate for the big ass K5 tank that is hanging down all vulnerable. This is not going to be a rock crawling rig but I do want to have some fun out on the trails and not have to worry about putting a hole in the tank. I was first thinking about going crazy beefy but finally decided I would balance wight vs functionality, and expose as much of the top of the tank as possible since it's hotter than a mother here and also don't want to rip my cross members out that are holding the tank in. Looks great and should do the trick. Our forecast for tomorrow is a high of 86* and a low of 58*

Superlift Shackle flip, next up is front Superlift 4" springs. When I get more dough I plan to get beefier shackles.

I cant seem to get your videos to play for me. I have a question about what flywheel and clutch you are running behind your 5.3. Im wanting to swap a 6.0L in my 67' C-20,it has a sm465 in it also. Just wanted to see how you did it and if you had any part numbers. Thanks |

Thanks for the information. Ill look into your other build. I can click the you tube icon but it comes up as a 404 htp error. All I can see on the post are a little square box in the left upper corner of the video outline. I cant click it either. Might be my computer. |

I would randomly watch your build videos over the last few years when I stumbled on to them a few years ago! I decided to binge watch the K10, and K20 build a few weeks ago and was hooked! Really enjoy both the trucks, and your LS tech videos.
