Factory Square or cobbled together mud duck?

I've never seen a crewcab-shortbed-stepside. Is this actually a model? Can't say it's got good looks going for it but hey, to each their own.

It looks kinda odd until you consider that it is basically the same configuration of most modern sedan replacement pickups. We just aren't used to seeing that configuration in an older truck.

Even if not factory, could be a dealer special version.

looks like 5 lug too, when all crews were 3/4 or 1 ton and therefore 8 lug

Re: Factory Square or cobbled together mud duck?

I agree with the other comments... It's not a factory rig. 3/4 & 1 ton only on the squarebody crew cab trucks.

The short stepside bed looks really odd with a crew cab. I would've used a short fleetside bed. It wouldn't look too much different from the T400 and later short fleetside extended cab and crew cab trucks like my T800. It might actually look OK as a short fleet crew 1/2 ton.
