Heck of a past few Months

I had to take my dog to the vet today and they put him down. It was a long weekend... (old picture)

Re: Heck of a past few Months

Sad and sorry to hear about having to put your dog down.
Pets are a member of the family and when their time is due and the responsibility is yours, it makes it a heartbreaking event.....bring you to your knees.
Again, very sorry about your pup.
Remember tho'...somewhere out there down the road is another great little dog that is going to need someone and they just might pick you.

Regards,
Coley

Re: Heck of a past few Months

I know exactly how you feel. I lost my yellow lab Missy to cancer in November. I will never forget taking her to the vet that last time. She was almost twelve and I had her since she was only 5 weeks old. I spent a lot of money in vet bills that last 6 months trying to make her better. I was really angry for several weeks after she was gone. Then in January a little black lab came into my life. She can never replace Missy but she sure made me feel better when I needed it the most. I guess in twelve years I forgot how much energy the young ones have. The pain will get better it just takes time.
