Is this backwards?

Heater valve, I have seen this both ways, does it matter and is it backwards?

Re: Is this backwards?

That is mounted correctly, though it actually shouldn't matter. It opens / closes to control the flow of coolant. That said, coolant *might* flow better in one direction than in the other. But the pic shows the way they came from the factory.

Talking Re: Is this backwards?

Doesn't really matter as long as it works.
I'd just about bet money the factory didn't care which way they where mounted back then.
They where installed by a human and we all know humans make mistakes. So to say one way is correct and the other isn't is not really relivant.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Is this backwards?

I must have the "Rare" factory backwards mounted valve with the corvettte 327 option. Must've been installed on a Monday. Sarcasm over.....
