If a1 doesn't sell you some, I'm pretty sure I have the ones I took off my Blazer floating around in the garage somewhere, I can dig them out if you want.

Re: ISO K5 Blazer Fender Emblems

Jason, I looked at the Blazer emblems this morning for the first time since I got my K5 back from the body shop and some studs are missing on both emblems. my body guy must have broke them off.

Re: ISO K5 Blazer Fender Emblems

I was able to dig mine out of the garage today. They came off a California truck, so no real pitting at all, should clean up nice. The studs on the B have been broken off, I assume the factory did this, as my truck had original paint, and only had 2 holes just like every other '72 truck fender.

Re: ISO K5 Blazer Fender Emblems

I have a question for 1968C30 and ls1nova71 do your k5 emblems have the part number cast into the k5? I thought mine were originals but also have the broken studs at the B. please let me know.

No, neither my used ones or my NOS have any numbers on them. I'm sure all 4 of mine came out of the same mold though judging by the marks on the back side of the R, they're exactly the same.

Re: ISO K5 Blazer Fender Emblems

thanks for posting ls1nova71 . I was pretty sure my used set is original but like yours no cast number. Here is a picture of my nos with the cast numbers and the third nut post also.. maybe we can get to the bottom of this for Jason Hardcorecash.

How old are your NOS ones? Mine are pretty old, the boxes have a guy's name written on them with the date of 10/2/79. Also, they are identical in every way to the original ones I removed from my all original truck. I wonder if they made a new mold later on and added the part number? What is the number cast into them, because the part number on my boxes are 3970676, as you can see in my pic, well, at least part of it. It also shows the old GM sticker design on the box. My NOS ones also still have the third stud, that's the reason I didn't use them, I couldn't bring myself to snap it off!
