Re: Green Beater

Really cool. Glad to see progress. Your Ls swap seems to be reasonable price wise. I was wondering, considering all the cost for the Ls do you feel it was on par say with another small block rebuild? Price wise that is. I've considered heavily on doing an Ls swap but price has really kept me away. Thanks.

Re: Green Beater

short answer rusty is yes.

the total cost in my swap comes out around 3500 but that is counting 2 seperate motors and machine work and ls1 parts on top of usual items like new gas tank and such . if my original engine had been good like promised i would have had about 2200 or so in it.

Re: Green Beater

Nice upgrade should be a drastic difference in acceleration now!

Re: Green Beater

much better acceleration. cruise rpms at 60 much better. trans does not seem to be as confused at what gear to be in at hwy speed. we will see what fuel mileage does this week.
