Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Fellow truck owners

Hi there, Jim from Ontario Canada here. This summer I picked up a 1971 C 10 long bed 1/2 ton truck just down the road from where I live. I noticed it behind this house with a couple other chevy trucks from the 80's - 90's era. I drove past for about two to three years when all of a sudden there was a car out front for sale. This was my chance to stop in and enquire about the old chevy in the back yard. I asked about it and the lady went in and got her brother out to see me and tell me about the truck. It was parked about three years ago, running and needed some body work. It was a previous ministry of natural resourses truck ( game warden ) so I was really interested since I am an avid fisherman. I asked if he would sell it and he said make me an offer. I did and the gentleman accepted and I was the new owner of the pickup. The truck is all original accept for an aftermarket gage and an am/fm radio. Its a 292 ci with a three in the tree shifter. It still had the original hubcaps on it. I will be doing a fair bit of usual rust area repairs but the truck will remain as stock as I can keep it.
