1984 k5

I have a 1984 k5 blazer and the power locks dont work. Im getting power to the plugs when i press the switch so I replaced the actuators and still nothing, but I did find the passenger switch not working is that keeping the locks from working 🤔

I’m not sure about the locks, but I had a similar issue with the power windows. My passenger window wouldn’t work at all because of a bad driver side window switch. I remember it seemed odd to me that it wouldn’t even work with the passenger side switch until I replaced the driver side switch. I guess power runs through the driver side switch to the passenger side.

Another thing you might check, is there are relays for the power locks mounted on the firewall in the area up behind the gas pedal.

Check the wiring from the cab to the door....... They crack/ break from years of the doors opening and closing and it could be a matter of low amperage.

I've seen a few threads about the switches wearing out/poor contact.

I got the locks working the relay was just stuffed up out of the way, once I mounted it locks started working now to figure out the dome lights
