Also, I have dual fuel tanks. Do I need two fuel relays? (Harness has provision for one)

Nice truck! I have almost the same truck (83' k10 with TBI).
You are correct about that plug. There is a harness that plugs into it and goes under the dash to the drivers side. I can't remember specifically if it goes to the cluster, but that sounds right. It's been a few years since I wired mine. I used a complete wire harness from a 89' Suburban. There is just one fuel pump relay for dual tanks. The trucks you see with two relays have a th400. The extra relay is for the kick down. |
