Can you adda Video to your post?

I've looked through FAQ and used search and am wondering is there any way to add a video, like you can a picture, from your computer to a post ? I think not because I never see any ..

I think people have posted links to youtube videos or to other video sharing services.

Thanks, I do know that can be done but I'm wondering if right from my computer like I do with the pictures.

Re: Can you adda Video to your post?

I can't attach videos here the way I can attach pictures so easily. I only know how to post them from Photbucket and it's really easy, just a copy/paste is all it takes. But when they pulled the rug out I lost that. Just found out things are back to normal with Photobucket, so once again this is a good option. But I'm not so sure how long this will last, so not sure it's a good way to suggest. I'd like to know another way, too

No, they'd need to upgrade the forum to a later version.

Re: Can you adda Video to your post?

I have always wondered if videos can be posted also.
It definitely would add to the the site.

It seems, anytime specific questions get asked about how to make this place better, it falls on deaf ears

There are a couple of more involved moderators that chime in, the question usually gets moved to an area, nobody looks at

And it dies

I really like this site, and the guys that hang out here
And
Want it to stay strong

It just seems like it stays the same, and runs on autopilot
Without much feedback
When questions are asked OR comments
On
How to make it better

I think you wish to EMBED the video, correct?
I'm not sure what you mean by embed video but here is what I want to do. I have videos of my truck I guess "embedded" on my hard drive. They are personal and I took them with my IPhone or Video Camera. I would like to share them on here but can't see a way to do it like you can with pictures. Any pictures I post come from my computer and I would like to be able to, as I'm sure other members would as well, post videos the same way. I dont want to put them on UTube or Photobucket and take them from there. If there is a way to do it great, if not after 15 years I still enjoy being a part of this site and will stay a paying Premium Member as long as the site stays the way it is and Josh/Liz don't sell out cause then the changes will come. I've got along without posting videos and if that is the way it stays, fine with me.

If you delete the "s" out of the https and it would show up with a preview box

Never knew it was so simple. Thanks.

I still need a way to post from my computer and where to move my Photobucket ones to.

Re: Can you adda Video to your post?

for posting youtube videos, copy this and insert the video code of you choice where X's are..

the part you want to copy is the part after v=

as mentioned above, this is the url for watching youtube videos, copied without the 's' after http

www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXXXXXXXX

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
