Tell me what you think

I was trying to do a mild cutomizing on the rear on the truck.

I was thinking about one piece tailights and deleting of the liscense plate and bolt holes on rear bumper. Wanted opinions on the photoshop one before I cut and do real damage.

Bonus: Who's truck did I use to photoshop.

The one pice tailight would be the same exact size and shape of backup light and tail light lense. Possibly slightly frenched.

That's Andy's old truck..... I like the all-red taillights, and the deleted bumper bolts, not sure about the license plate being gone though, jmho.

What he said... the mind's eye really expects to see a plate, so with it missing, it looks like something's missing. Plus... you've got to have a plate for driving, and so it'd likely end up being one of those flip-down thingies. I enjoy gadgets, but they remind me of the magletic lights the wrecker guy tosses on your wife's car when it's getting hauled off from a wreck

As for the taillights, seems like a reasonable mod... subtle enough. Are you talking about tinting the backup lens? or machining out new one-piece lenses from scratch?

Doing a one piece light with slight frenching. I have my truck registered as a antique/ collectable so I do not need to pass inspection for a backup light. (Slightly illegal but...)

I was thinking of using both sockets to make the light brighter without the going the LED look.

I am looking for a really subtle custom with mods that look stock but with a slight twist for interest factor.

Texas does not require backup lights to pass inspection. I checked on it before I took my truck in this year, because mine don't work.
