Re: Green Machine

So I got the engine and tranny out.

Had to take this massive tank out to finish taking the body off.

It was slightly modified to get into the suburban, no idea what it was from, but measured it and it came out to 46 US gallons or 177 litres approximatley.

Body comes off tomorrow.

Re: Green Machine

47 gal gas tank? WOW! I like big tanks... and I cannot lie.... I like looong runs between fill ups and since I budget my fuel money, the big fil is no problem. Of course down here I would have to fill till the pump cut off, re-swipe the card and fill some more. Oh the joy!

Re: Green Machine

Not much of an update, but I have my big brake kit now, and my wheels showed up. Centerline elite,20x8 and 20x9.5. Now I have about 6 sets of caps to decide on which to run.

Re: Green Machine

Hi Looks like a real nice build. It takes me to long any more. To do a frame off restore or build. So good luck. I like the cap all the way to the right. That like a entry level 70s nova

Re: Green Machine

Nice wheels. I do like the same center cap best. (The two all the way over on the right).

PS - What did you do with old wheels? What are specs on those?
