Chevy time capsule

Stuff dreams are made of. Dealership closes its doors, locked inside are dozens of brand new Chevy's (classics), some with 1 mile on the speedo. Auction in Sept. check out the story and details here. http://www.vanderbrinkauctions.com/a...5&allimages=NO

Re: Chevy time capsule

Timmy, thanks for the other link, I had scanned the threads quickly and didn't see anything (kind of surprised) figured somebody had to have seen it already. Anyway, when I saw all the 64s I figured I had to share. How cool would it be to have the entire lot purchased, including all the shop materials, parts, etc. and recreate the store as a museum.

Re: Chevy time capsule

how come those vehicles were never sold? you mean to tell me that over all those years , nobody walked into that dealership to get parts and say , hey is that truck for sale? they were in the business of selling vehicles . unless it was his personal collection. but there would have been lots of better models he could have kept for his personal collection , if that what it was. just my thought.

Re: Chevy time capsule

I cant find any pictures of the fleet of 64's with less than 10 miles on them anywhere on the auction site? There are 5 or 6 listed in the inventory lists though.
